I've been creating unique artworks in a variety of mediums for over 25 years. From my paintings, woodworking creations, home and garden art and indoor/outdoor wall hangings, to my concrete bas-relief sculptures, you will enjoy the works of an experienced artist driven by the true passion that carries through today.
The pieces I create are sculpted from my own original designs and are finished with a reactive stain. The reactive stain finish I use is a concentrated, penetrating, antiquing stain that chemically colors concrete to produce a permanent, variegated and translucent effect. Each and every piece is unique and original.
I employ an early form of bas-relief in my creations. Bas-relief is one of the earliest forms of sculpture practiced, and probably originated with the stone-cutters of prehistoric days, though clay and wood are supposed to have been the earliest materials employed, owing to greater facility in molding and carving them.
Bas-relief is a method of sculpting which entails carving or etching away the surface of a flat piece. The word is derived from the Italian basso rilievo, the literal translation meaning raised contrast.
One of my most unique talents is creating sculptures portrayed as pictures. The portrayed image is raised above the background flat surface. Capturing the brilliance of life is the passion I offer
in my bas-relief personal portraits.

I also offer custom bas-relief wood carvings. My works are bold, expressive, and sometimes whimsical. Spanning a variety of imaginative subjects, my collections include door panels, mantels, wall hangings and cedar poles.
